Luke from Cool Hand Improvements did a fantastic job renovating our old porch. The old porch was framed in wood, which was rotting away. Luke had suggested aluminum framing instead of wood so it would be maintenance free. We decided to go with Luke’s suggestion and glad we did. He replaced all the wood framing, new screens, new doors and here are the results. I would highly recommend Luke for any porches or general construction work. His pricing is extremely fair, Great suggestions and a very hard worker!

Just recently, I broke the door closer (my fault). I was going to replace it myself so I reached out to Luke to see where I could get the parts. Luke was a recommendation from our previous neighbor. At the time we contacted him, we had received several quotes and nothing felt right. He quickly set up a time to come by and while thinking through our project, moving the columns on the ends, and taking into consideration our dogs and kids, he recommended a wonderful solution! Cool Hand replaced our existing deck which was rotted and moldy. He removed the old material and made the space safe and beautiful again . He was great with communication, offered fair price, stayed on his stated schedule and cleaned up all materials. We were very pleased.
Luke from Cool Hand has done wonderful work at our home. We had a challenging sloped slab under our deck that we wanted screened with retractable doors. He pulled it off fantastically. We called him back to build out a new section of fence to accommodate an out building, as well as repair and replace sagging gates. His work is carefully planned and executed. He is also very pleasant to talk to and communicates his schedule so you don’t have to chase him down. He cleans up after himself as well. We have had other contractors leave a mess behind but not with Cool Hand Home Improvements. Highly recommend for screen enclosures, deck and fencing.
